We've been engaged in the private practice of law in the Twin Cities metropolitan area since 1981. Attorney Tom Lee worked as a sole practitioner ('81-'86) in family law, immigration law, and criminal defense. He then became a trial attorney for a Minneapolis law firm ('86-'90) working primarily in personal injury litigation, mostly in Federal Court, on a nationwide basis. Since 1991, he has focused primarily in family law and divorce.

Mediation is Often a Good Alternative

Not every issue needs to be resolved in court. In many cases, mediation is a better alternative. To that end, Attorney Tom Lee is a Minnesota Supreme Court qualified neutral in Family Law, which means he's a qualified mediator and able to provide alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services. He has represented clients at every level of the Minnesota court system. He has also taught continuing legal education in family law to other lawyers, he serves on the paternity panel for Ramsey County Family Court, as well as the pro se litigant panel, and he is a panel attorney for Judicare of Anoka County, Inc.
